All Day

Prospect School

On Tuesday 7th January we will be holding an Academic Review Day, when all students will be invited in with their parents for a 15 minute appointment with their tutor. During this appointment, tutors will discuss success and progress made so far this year, as well as identifying key areas for development in the rest of this academic year. Exact appointment times will be sent home to individual students next week. We hope that as many parents as possible will be able to attend with their child for this important review of their progress; if parents are unable to attend, we would still expect to see the student so they can still benefit from the one-to-one discussion with their tutor.

There will be supervised study space made available if you would like your child to be in school all day.

All Year 11 and 13 students should plan to use their remaining time on this day to revise independently in final preparations for their PPEs, which commence the following day. This can be done either at home or in school. To support this, there will be revision sessions taking place all day in English, Maths and Science for Year 11 as well as a general revision/study room with computers available. We would encourage your child to attend these sessions, fitting in around their meeting times with their tutor and sixth form interview. Exact details, including location will be confirmed and displayed on the day.

Year 11 Study/Revision Sessions:

English with Mr Furkins – D102 and D103

Maths with Miss Webb – D208

Science with Mrs Stent – B2
