#PrideinProspect 26th June 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Our collective school community is always at the heart of Prospect School and this week the whole community of Reading has come together in shared grief following the tragic events in Forbury Gardens on Saturday. This fortnight’s edition of #PrideinProspect is therefore dedicated to the memory of James, David and Joe.

We have as always had another busy two weeks at school; it has been very exciting to finally see our Year 10 and 12 students returning to school and without exception their behaviour and attitudes to our new social distancing in school has been exemplary. We are looking forward to getting back to face-to-face teaching for the remainder of this term, combined with our online provision for the rest of the week and students in other year groups.

We are also making plans for how we will re-open the school to all students in September. We will incorporate further guidance from the Department for Education into our plans and will be shortly in position to confirm and share these details with you.

It’s been a very hot week and I suspect the forecast thunderstorms later might be very welcome!

Warm regards

Mr D Littlemore
